The size is just 0.7km in length and 0.5km wide and with a land area mass of just seven acres, and takes about eight minutes to walk around.
In the local language of Dhivehi, the name “Rania” comes from the word “Rani” meaning “Queen” and the Island is truly worthy of the title. The Rania Suite is made up of the master bedroom, two guest rooms and reception/living room designed with stylish living in mind and offer complete privacy and comfort. It surrounds the plunge pool and sundeck in a classic contemporary fashion to compliment the surroundings.

The Beach Villas are just a stones throw away and hidden amongst the gardens adjoining. The three individual villas, blend perfectly amongst the garden foliage to offer shade and privacy as well as direct access to the beach and ocean on your doorstep. Each of our three beach villas has private verandas large outdoor bathrooms offering tropical outdoor showers and all modern amenities.

The Waters Edge Bar is your private bar deck with sweeping views of the sea for you and your guests to spend a lazy afternoon enthralled by the changing eight shades of blue, counting clouds or watching dolphins at play.

Hotel In Guatemala | La Lancha | Tikal, Guatemala

More pictures here

Tikal is so precious that it has been named a UNESCO World Heritage site and Francis Ford Coppola calls it one of the wonders of the world. It is the reason he has a resort here. Teeming with flora and fauna (including 2 species of monkey and over 300 species of birds), the temples of Tikal were once completely shrouded by jungle. During this memorable excursion, investigate six enormous pyramids—climbing to the top for a breathtaking view over the jungle-clad lowlands of Pétén. Explore royal palaces, residences, ballcourts and even a jail. A local specialist makes this overwhelming full day event a trip that will be remembered for life—but don’t be surprised if you crave Day Two to completely savor these riches. If you’re traveling overland between La Lancha and Blancaneaux Lodge call in at the spectacular lake-side site of Yaxhá.

Privacy is found as the ocean breaks on the beach and you are the only one to witness its fall. Playa Koralia gives you that experience and more, one hour away from Santa Marta (Colombia). Time stops as nature defines each space; sand, paradise, sea, fresh water, palms, light & shade. The elements come together where the rivers flowing from the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada flow into the blue Caribbean.

With its fusion of traditional palm and soft stone, and ethnic art from Latin America, the décor of Playa Koralia harmonizes with the natural surroundings. Walls arise and slip into the surrounding landscape, leading one outside and encouraging exploration of the immense surroundings.
