Palafitte Hotel,Lake of Neuchâtel, in Switzerland
The history of the Palafitte Hotel lies in the future.
It has open its doors in the Spring of 2002 on one of the most prized sites of the Three Lakes Region, in Monruz, on the very edge of the Lake of Neuchâtel, in Switzerland.
It was originally the fruit of the co-operation with the Sandoz Family Foundation and was designed by Kurt Hofmann, architects.
Its state-of-the-art technology makes the Palafitte Hotel a vision of what a hotel should be while still meeting the rigorous requirements of a five-star establishment.
This hotel, with its dependencies, built on piles in the open countryside, is unique in Europe and gives an impression of well-being in a quiet and relaxing lakeside setting.
The hotel has forty junior suites each of which can accommodate one, two or three people in an area of 68m2.
