VERANA is a resort built on a hillside overlooking the ocean with a panoramic view of the mountains deep in the Valle del Sierra Madre Occidental. The resort is carved out of the lush Mexican jungle, it is remote and secluded, but still offers all the amenities for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
Each resort's house was designed with its own character and feel to blend with the landscape and environment. The houses have their own gardens and terraces for privacy, but are still close enough so you don’t feel all alone in the jungle.
Yelapa, the nearby village, there are no roads and no cars. Everything is done by boat, mule or foot. Yelapa is a small village with a few good restaurants, grocery stores, a lively beach and dancing at the “Yacht Club” Saturday nights
V E R A N A is for travellers looking for beauty, intimacy, tranquility and privacy
Resort's packages are not really “deals” where you get something for less or cheaper. Resort throw in some special attention and gifts, but basically the packages reflect the experiences had with guests over the years—the resort put the options together, so you don’t have to figure it out for yourself.
A 3 HOUR flight takes you from L.A. to Puerto Vallarta. A quick drive gets you to Boca de Tomatlan — the last beach you can reach by car. From there it's a 30 minute boat ride along the beautiful coast to Yelapa.
